Dear friends and family,
For a lot of us, 2009 was a tough, challenging year. We certainly were aware of those challenges here at Keller Williams® as the real estate market continued to adjust to uncertain and ever changing market conditions.
Yet, at the end of the year, I am happy to report that I had my best year yet! Why? I spend a great deal of time at the beginning of the listing process listening to my buyers’ needs, desires, and objectives. My clients have reaped the rewards of this time many times over. And, most of my buyers have found the home of their dreams within three weeks or less of beginning their search for a new home! But, as they say, that is just the beginning. Contract negotiation and navigating the home loan process then become our primary focus. This is where we kick into high gear to make sure our clients receive the best possible contract and mortgage for their particular needs that we possibly can.
I also continue to offer consulting services on home improvement projects. I follow current market trends and monitor the best neighborhoods for what is up and coming in the home improvement arena. When it comes time to put your home on the market, I can provide a full comparative Maximum Value Market Assessment® position your home to not only meet, but exceed the competition.
I am now entering my 6th year in Real Estate and have worked with clients in across the DC, Virginia and Maryland regions.

What else is going on?
One of the biggest challenges this past year was the lending environment. As a result, I have identified a group of excellent lenders that are working very hard to find our clients the best loan products available. They commit to what is not only possible, but doable; and follow through on that commitment.
And, like many companies, I am going GREEN. Did you know that a typical Real Estate transaction can easily create over 800 sheets of paper? So, I now use the DOCUSIGN® service that allows individuals to sign documents on-line and deliver them at the speed of the light! With DOCUSIGN®, I’ll be cutting down on our carbon footprint also by eliminating the need for me, my counterparts and our clients to drive around town to sign and deliver amended contract documents. What’s next: a digital tablet to replace hard copy contracts. And, in the spring, I will be also be getting my Green Certification.
